I’m Kiana

If I am honest, I don’t really like talking about myself. I enjoy watching Chinese/ Korean dramas (TV shows) in my spare time. I love being indoors and daydreaming when I have nothing else to do. I tried being outdoorsy once by hiking and man did I die. I do like the idea of hiking but actually doing it, is another story. Maybe if I relocate to another country (🤞🏼)I would like to go out more to explore.

Travelling is something I would love to do and relocating outside of Canada is my ultimate goal. I would like to live in China, UK, and South Korea. Jobwise I would love to do what I love which is writing. Bonus points if it’s in the media sector of work. I am perfectly fine doing any writing/content/promotion/marketing.

As previously stated, I do enjoy writing and would like to one day attempt to write a novel or a script. As a hobby of course, I like stability so I would like to have a full-time job while I work on some writing projects. I have professional experience in social media content for 2 years. I have a Bachelor’s in Liberal Arts and a diploma in Media Communications all completed in Canada.

Aside from the skills on the homepage, I have experience in Adobe Suites and Microsoft applications. I can create graphics when needed but prefer to be in the creative idea process only. Simple, cute graphics are more of my style. I have big ideas and would like to be able to think outside of the box and create writing concepts or advertisements that push the grain (within legal limits of course). I have a basic knowledge of Korean and Chinese (Mandarin). Would love to continue learning them and hopefully in the future, be fluent.

My values are honesty, kindness, and inclusiveness. I am an honest person to a fault. I dislike lying to others and to myself. I would rather be open than secretive. That said because kindness is my second value I wouldn’t be mean about anything. I try to get along with everyone and if there’s tension, I would like to nip it in the bud and if it’s unsuccessful then I would get along to get along. Meaning I would get along to do our job but outside of that I wouldn’t necessarily put myself out there to go the extra mile. Finally, being inclusive is important to me because I don’t want anyone being left out or feeling alone because of any type of barrier.
